Large 1926 photograph of Bobby Jones as he offers his congratulations after being defeated at Muirfield for the British Amateur by Andrew Jamieson. In the long and storied career of Jones, the British Amateur was his weakness and this photo illustrates this better than almost any we have ever seen. From the archives of Underwood and Underwood and with a large paper caption on the back, this is stamped by a London news service and it presents well despite some creasing from editorial use in an archive.
