For all the photo-ops, groundbreaking moments, and monumental contract signings, Jackie Robinson meant more to baseball than perhaps anyone. There are several important photographs out there, but the most famous and iconic action photograph of Robinson ever snapped was from game one of the 1955 World Series when he stole home against the New York Yankees. The offered photograph from the International News and stamped on the back is a close-up of the event, showing just the participants in the moment (Robinson and Yogi Berra) at the moment the two collided. While it appears this is likely off a duplicate negative, it is clearly original to 1955 and is a fantastic alternative to a $10,000 example. Condition is great and the quality is really nice as well.
