1952 Exceptional batting photograph of rookie Eddie Mathews from the Boston Braves as he takes a powerful swing and holds his follow through for a photographer. The team would move to Milwaukee in 1953 so the Boston hat cements this as an early image of Mathews and it ranks among his best we have ever seen in 20 years. There is some very light handling wear from age, but overall the condition is nice and this will get a Type 1 from PSA! There was a autograph on the upper right corner "Ed Mathews Milwaukee Braves" that was removed but the indentation can be lightly seen if titled to the light, so we are mentioning this for accuracy.
