1941 Large photograph of slugger Joe DiMaggio as he was in Cleveland to meet the Indians and posing with their ace pitcher Bob Feller. This was during DiMaggio's famous 56 game hitting streak and is dated on the back from just a few days after the Indians stopped DiMaggio at 56 games! This is a famous photograph of the best pitcher in baseball (Feller) and the best hitter at the time (DiMaggio) posing together. There is some wear to the top border but overall the image is quite nice. NOTE, the image is stamped on the back "Associated Press Wirephoto" but it is not a wire, and it is clearly off the original negative and even stamped by a local Cleveland photographers name on the back, so the stamp is wrong.
