Massive 1939 photographic display piece of the New York Yankees team in uniform and posing at the ballpark. Lou Gehrig is seated center from his last season in baseball and the photo is a blow-up of the famous Cosmo Sileo team photograph. The photo is mounted on thick board (Masonite we believe) and we were told by our consigner that this was part of a display at Yankee Stadium c. 1960 that celebrated the Yankee teams through the years. There is some wear from handling and two small spots of paper loss from storage, but otherwise it makes for a nice display with some cool historical context to it! NOTE, due to size and weight (mounted to thick wood) there will be an additional shipping charge on this item to the winner.
