1937 Sweeping photograph of the greatest shrine in baseball (if you were a Giants fan) the Polo Grounds in New York. Scene of some of the greatest games in baseball history, this is a cool aerial photograph issued by the International News and stamped on the back. One of the most visually stunning ballpark images ever taken, we sold the only other example of this photograph we have ever seen for $4,412 in 2020. Despite having some damage and being well loved in a newspaper archive, this is still an important piece of baseball history! A cool side note is that Yankee Stadium can also be seen at the top of the photo in the distance.
