1934 Vintage action photograph of Hank Greenberg of the Detroit Tigers as he looked to catch Pepper Martin of the Cardinals off first base during the sixth game of the World Series at Navin Field. This was the famous Gas House Gang World Series, but Greenberg is the star of this photograph. Issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well. A nearly perfect specimen that we have never seen before.
