Beautiful c. 1912 action photograph of Charles "Red" Dooin the star catcher of the Philadelphia Phillies. A mounted cabinet photo, it is likely this is the work of a famous photographer as the image quality is outstanding. It is interesting that the photo has been reversed for publication (so it could be engraved by a newspaper and flipped to be the right direction in print) making Dooin appear left handed. A perfect 10/10 that is as good as prewar baseball photography gets!
