1909 Large action photograph of George Schlei from the New York Giants. One of the coolest action photographs from the era, this was taken by Charles Conlon and he has actually managed to capture the ball in the frame just a split second before it hit his glove. A fantastic image in nice shape overall, this is a masterpiece of early baseball action photography. This is the image used to make his 1910 T3 Turkey Red baseball card and this is the only example we have ever seen in the hobby. An early card image from a master photographer in great shape, this photo has it all! Note, the Conlon stamp was added by him later while the style of photography and size are 100% the work of an early Conlon print developed c. 1910.
