c. 1919 Large and absolutely stunning photograph of Boston Red Sox slugger Babe Ruth in uniform and posing at the ballpark with teammates. The silver gelatin masterpiece is clear and bold, completely vintage to 1919 and in great shape. PSA has determined this to be off a duplicate negative, but still very clear and original to 1919 which is the key, and it comes with an LOA as well. There is a note on the letter that the photograph has undergone restoration, but to the naked eye this is perfect! One of the largest and most attractive period images of Ruth that we have ever handled!
