Large 1870's vintage cabinet photograph of an early football team in uniform. The uniform style and ball point to a c. 1978-1882 era image and the team was obviously a well equipped college team from the era. There are no markings on the jerseys, but few colleges at the time had such well equipped squads, making this likely a top level team from the genesis of the game. The condition and quality are both outstanding!
