On January 19, 1961, singer and actor Frank Sinatra held a benefit concert to help pay off the campaign debts of the new President John F. Kennedy. He was a big supporter in the dream and vision of JFK and was willing to put his money and his mouth to the test for his beliefs. Before the show could start, he played the ultimate showman by escorting young Jackie Kennedy to her seat for the concert. A cool image that is one of the first to show the melding of Hollywood and Politics, this is one we have never seen before. Issued by the United Press and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well.
