Large 1919 photograph of Captain Eddie Rickenbacker as he posed with his sister and mother the day he returned from WWI. Still wearing his military uniform and looking grizzled from battle, this is a fantastic image of the first American fighter pilot hero. The image was issued by Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back with a paper caption and it presents well with editorial paint from publication. There are some pinholes from news-room use but the overall condition looks really nice. One of the finest images of Rickenbacker we have ever seen and it is being offered here for the first time ever.
