1941 Large photograph of Anthony Esposito, noted cop killer from New York City, as he appeared in custody after being beaten during the chase that led to his capture. Anthony and his brother were dubbed the "Mad Dog Killers" and after a long and lengthy trial in which they howled, drooled and banged their heads against walls, the two were convicted and executed in 1942. A powerful image in great shape and stamped on the back, this is a powerful work of photography that we have never seen before!
