1929 Photograph of two members of the Chicago Police Department as they posed with some of the illegal stills they captured in the city. This was at the absolute height of the gangster era in the city so it is hard to know if this was an honest raid or a photo-op that made it seem like these guys were trying to crack down on booze while secretly being on the take from Capone! We suppose that is part of the allure with this photograph! Issued by Acme and stamped on the back with the date, the photo presents well with a small rip on the bottom border.
