1927 Large and sweeping photograph of aviator Charles Lindbergh as he arrived in Belgium to a reported one million fans and spectators. This was his first flight after he arrived in Paris and the event took place just a few days after he landed from New York. There is film footage of this event but this is the only photograph from the landing that we have ever seen. Issued by a foreign news service and stamped on the back (crossed out with pencil) and from the archives of Underwood and Underwood, this is being offered here for the first time ever. The photo has some wear and a few small rips from news-room storage, but it looks great and is the only image from the event we have ever seen.
