Important 1910 silver gelatin photograph of the newest Wright Brothers airplane that would be demonstrating it's aeronautic abilities at the brand new Indianapolis Speedway at the first ever American air show from June 13-18, 1910. The photo is an artistic close-up of the propeller that was newly designed using flexible material for higher speeds. The planes would be some of the last that were flown by Wilbur and Orville themselves and it could be argued that these flights for public demonstration were the most important since Kittyhawk! There is a crease on the upper left but otherwise it presents beautifully and with exceptional clarity. There is a file stamp of 1912 but the back paper caption clearly speaks at length about the 1910 airshow at the Indianapolis Speedway!
