Ask any rock fan from the previous generation what the best album was when they were young and many of them will reply "Cheap Trick Live at Budokan." It changed the way that music was released and many bands started to experiment with live albums as a result. So popular was the record that the original studio releases of many of the songs have been shelved and the live versions from Japan have replaced them on the radio. The offered photograph shows the band on stage (not identified as to where) and there is a fantastic original press release, dated from 1979, that goes into great depth about the current success of the Budokan album. An important piece of rock history, this is the only example we have ever seen and it is from the archives of a prominent music magazine.
