1958 Powerful and important photograph of Guy Rodgers, a true basketball pioneer and one of the earliest black superstars, posed in his Temple University uniform from a famous photo session he did with art photographer Carl Van Vechten. The image is embossed on the lower right corner by Van Vechten and this is the only example from this famous photo session we have ever seen in original form ever offered for sale. An incredible cross collectible as it pertains to sports, African American history, and art photography! The condition and quality are both perfect, making this an investment quality 10/10!
