Vintage 1951 action photograph of the Harlem Globetrotters and from the teams official photographer, taken on one of their world tours over seas. The image is an important piece of basketball history as it is one of the first we have ever seen that appears to show a player about to dunk, or at least playing above the rim, as he dominated the New York Celtics. The photo was taken in a packed arena that almost appears to be outdoors! From the estate of a team official, this is being offered here for the first time ever and might be an important piece of basketball history as perhaps the first recorded dunk in basketball photography!
