1938 Large action photograph of the former Heavyweight Champion of the World, James J. Braddock, as he attempted a comeback against Tommy Farr. Braddock looks great as he launched a left handed jab at Farr, but he had recently lost the Championship and would soon retire from boxing. Despite winning this fight, it would be the last for Braddock who would retire from the ring. One of the most important images of this iconic fighter we have ever seen and in great shape. Issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a nice paper caption as well.
