1937 James Braddock artistic study of the boxers Feet as he positioned himself in the ring. This was snapped only days before he was to fight Joe Louis to retain the Heavyweight Championship of the World and he was at the height of his fame an influence. The Irish boxing trunks are outstanding and the photo looks great with note to a small chip off the lower right corner. The reverse has stamps from NEA and Acme as well as shading that matches the artistic tracing on the front from publication. A classic example of sports photography that transcends into art!
