Among the most important early pioneers of professional football was Marion Motley. While the league had been integrated a few months earlier by Kenny Washington and Woody Strode, they were in a completely different league so when Motley did the same thing for the Browns, he was the first! The offered image is an early portrait photograph dated 1950 on the back and in pretty nice shape with light creasing and crazing from the age. One of the earliest and finest images of an important football pioneer that we have ever seen!
