Lot Description  

c. 1951 Photograph of Joe DiMaggio as he retired from baseball and was presented with his glove and jersey which he was shipping off to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Stamped on the back by photographer Bob Olen, this is an important piece of baseball history! Photo has some light wear from news-room use but it looks great. This was originally an 8x10 image that was trimmed a bit.
