Large 1951 vintage photograph of Brooklyn Dodgers Hall of Famer Duke Snider in full uniform. This is one of his greatest images ever taken and it presents beautifully with crystal clarity. A small pinhole on the top border is essentially the only flaw and it otherwise looks perfect. This photo is an interesting piece of baseball card history. If you look at the 1954 Bowman Snider baseball card it looks a bit weird, but that is because they spliced two photographs together to make it. From the neck down, this is the card image 100% as every single fold line on his jersey is exact. His head on the card is from a different photograph. So in essence, this is the card image but regardless, this is one of the greatest images of Snider that has ever been taken and it is one of his rarest of the era that was released by the Dodgers team!
