1936 Extremely early photograph of Joe DiMaggio and Frank Crosetti, both San Francisco boys who had been signed by the Yankees, as they posed for photographers just a few days before reporting to their rookie spring training camp. Dated on the back from 2-17-1936, this is one of the earliest images from DiMaggio that dates to his rookie season in the big leagues that exists. The photo has a small rip at the top which is actually pretty tough to even locate, but otherwise it presents almost perfect. Issued by the west coast bureau of Acme and with a full paper caption on the back, this is being offered here for the first time ever.
