1927 Exceptional portrait photograph of Yankees pitcher Wilcy Moore in full uniform for the greatest team in baseball history. Known for their home runs and hitting, the Yankees actually had a great pitching staff to compliment Ruth and Gehrig with Wilcy Moore being the anchor with a 19-7 record and a league leading 2.28 ERA! A bold image from Underwood and Underwood that could possibly be the work of Charles Conlon as he had a working relationship with Underwood at the time. A 10/10 that is perhaps his greatest image ever taken!
