1926 Portrait photograph of star shortstop from the Chicago Cubs Jimmy Cooney in full uniform. He was the seventh player in baseball to turn an unassisted triple play forever etching his name in the history books in 1927, but he was also a fine player for 11 years as well. A wonderful image that presents well with some editorial marks and pinholes, taken by photographer Charles Conlon and is the only example of Cooney by the famous photographer that we have ever seen!
