1926 Action photograph of Everett Scott, the iron man of baseball, as he shows off his ability to still be a dominant force in the field despite having played in over 1200 consecutive games. There is an incredible handwritten letter on the back that at once point acts like Scott is the author, but it then shifts to observations of the ballplayer from a photographer who clearly had a relationship with the star player. An interesting image that is likely unique and being offered here for the first time ever, the photo would actually be in really good shape but for one corner chip from news-room storage damage and some pinholes at the corners from editorial use.
