1923 Cool photograph of home run king Cy Williams of the Phillies as he poses at the ballpark with a new car he was given in appreciation of Williams as "home run king." He was often referred to as the "Babe Ruth of the National League" at this time and it was well earned as he blasted 41 in this season. Condition is great and this is his best photograph we have ever seen and captures him on the hood of his car at the Baker Bowl! Issued by Underwood and Underwood and with a stamp and paper caption on the back.
