1921 Early spring training photograph of rookie Whitey Glazner from the Pittsburgh Pirates and warming up in uniform at the ballpark. The photo is stamped on the back by the photographer and it has an extensive handwritten letter as well that goes into depth on Glazner and his previous record of 27 wins at Birmingham. He would have great success in his first year at Pittsburgh, leading the league in winning percentage and going 14-5, but arm trouble would plague him after that and he faded into obscurity. Images of Glazner are extremely tough to find and this is the only example we have ever seen in 20 years. A unique new discovery that is being offered here for the first time ever! The photo has a crease and pinholes from editorial use but otherwise it presents really well!
