1920 Incredible action photograph of the early Negro League Cuban Stars as they played in a game with the Parkesburg Iron Company team in Pennsylvania. The photo is an impressive early action image as it shows an unidentified member of the Stars being tagged out, but it also captures a player waiting for his turn to bat (crystal clear and he should be able to be identified) and also a cool look into the Stars dugout. A unique new discovery from a documented 1920 scrapbook, the photo is identified on the back by the photographer as "White tags a runner, Cuban Star Game" and it comes with the scrapbook paper that the photo was professionally removed from. Negro league items from this early are incredibly rare and undervalued with this being a beautiful action image with an integrated crowd watching the game, creating a piece of social history as well as a gem of baseball history!
