The 1920 World Series has gone down in history as one of the most important and popular of all time, but images from the event are quite rare. Here we see New York City Mayor John Hylan throwing out the ceremonial first pitch in Brooklyn as they were all set to battle with the Cleveland Indians. A bold image from Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back with a nice paper caption as well, the photo presents nice but it has a small rip on the far right border that does not detract from the aesthetics of the image.
