Dick Rudolph was the star pitcher of the 1914 Boston Braves and he posed here as the proud champion of the world after they won the World Series and became the talk of baseball. The paper caption on the back notes that Rudolph was playing ball with some neighborhood kids when this photo was taken, but we sure hope he was not using the ball in his hand which appears to be a signed ball from the Miracle Braves team and would be worth $100,000 today! A cool image that also relates to baseball memorabilia and despite some creasing and pinholes, the image is really clear with many of the signatures easily readable!
