Beautiful c. 1910 sweeping action photograph of star player George Moriarty as he stole third base against the St. Louis Browns. One of the better action photographs we have ever handled of any player from the era, this has a cool handwritten note on the back about the play (which could pinpoint the game and date with some research) and a stamp from the photographer as well which was the famous Spooner and Wells studio of Detroit. Moriarty was a great player and a really popular umpire and his stuff is underrated.
