1957 Important photograph of Jackie Robinson and taken the year after he retired from baseball, showing the pioneer uniting with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as the duo would unite for one of the first times ever to fight for Civil Rights. The image captured both men at Howard University as Robinson and King were both receiving honorary degrees from the black university. A powerful and important image that grades essentially perfect and comes already encapsulated by PSA as a Type 1. We have never seen this image before and this example is being offered here for the first time ever!
