Important 1948 double weight photograph of young Marilyn Monroe and from one of her first ever photo-sessions as she posed next to a "Los Angeles City Limits" sign. Photographed by Ed Cronenweth and stamped on the back, this is completely original to 1948 and offered here for the first time ever, fresh out of a newspaper archive. The paper caption on the back is fantastic as it goes into depth about how she was a "photographers model" and that she had "no film experience." Quite possibly the finest image of Monroe we have ever seen and surely is worthy of induction into even the most advanced collection! This is one of only two images from this photo-session we have ever seen and this one captures her from head toe and showing off the figure that would become the most famous in Hollywood history!
