One of the most important images in American history is the Stanley Forman masterpiece titled, "The Soiling of Old Glory" in which a white man swings the American Flag as a weapon at a Civil Rights protester in 1968. While this photograph is not that image, it is eerily similar. A white Boston man wearing a Celtics coat is in almost the exact pose as the famous image, and a black man falls to the floor as a result. Taken by an unknown photographer about ten years later in the 1970's, this is a powerful work of photography in great shape and offered here for the first time ever!
