Francois Sully was arguably the most important photographer of the entire Vietnam War. He was one of the first to cover the conflict and did so with a skill normally reserved for artists only. He died in 1971 while flying in a helicopter to cover the conflict and as a result, he is now a martyr to photo journalism and his images are coveted by collectors. The offered photograph from 1966 captures a native in a fortified village from early in the conflict. A double weight masterpiece of photography, this is a perfect 10/10 that is being offered here for the first time ever!
