1944 Large and famous photograph of a Duck landing on the Normandy coast on the morning of June 6, 1944 and bringing American soldiers into France for a final push to end WWII. D-Day photographs are among the most sought after the world and this is the only official US Coast Guard example of this famous photograph we have ever seen. The photo is dated on the back from June 6, 1944 and it carries the extensive purple text from the United States government as well. Condition and quality are both outstanding and this is being offered here for the first time ever. This is the ONLY Vintage 1 (Type 1) example of this photograph that we have personally ever seen in over twenty years! The photo has some light wear to the corners but otherwise it presents well.
