1933 Photograph of Ozzie Powell, perhaps the most famous of all the "Scottsboro Boys" as he sat on the witness stand during one of the many trials to try and convict nine black men for the a crime they did not commit. A powerful work of photography that represents racism and injustice in America during the height of the "Jim Crow" south. Issued by Acme and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well and offered here for the first time ever.
