One of the first actors to specialize in all things macabre was Vincent Price. Before actors had a niche in that genre, he was the man who made his living by being dark and mysterious. The offered 1949 studio photograph was issued in conjunction with his radio adaptation of "The Saint" and four years before his first horror film "House of Wax." Bold and attractive, this is the earliest we have ever handled and it presents beautifully. There is a small spot of discoloration where the gelatin pooled up when developed at center and remnants of artistic enhancements, but otherwise it looks great.
