When Johnny Bower debuted with the Rangers in 1953-54, he was already thirty years old. He would not become a star in the NHL until even later, but that did not stop him from becoming one of the greatest of all time and a member of the Hall of Fame. The offered image is one of the only examples in the world that pictures Bower in uniform with the Rangers from about his rookie year.
