1927 Silver gelatin photograph of golfers Bobby Jones and Joe Kirkwood as they return home from competition in the British Open. Jones would win the event for the second consecutive year, cementing his place as the greatest golfer in the game. Issued by Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well, this is an early Jones image in nice condition and crystal clarity. This is just the second example of this photograph we have ever seen in twenty years!
