One of the most underrated players in the history of professional football, Kenny Washington was to the NFL what Jackie Robinson was to Major League baseball. Interesting that they were teammates at UCLA in the late 1930's and this action photo captures them both! Before Washington, the NFL had an unofficial color barrier just like baseball. After Washington, the League became one of the most integrated in all of professional sports. Clear image has a tremendous action image of Washington from his days as a superstar at UCLA or his earliest days as a professional on the west coast, running the ball through the line at practice. From Washington's own estate, this is a unique new discovery that is being offered here for the first time ever! Anything associated with Washington is undervalued in the hobby and this is one of his finest images we have ever handled.
