1940 Large action photograph of an on-field altercation between members of the Pittsburgh Pirates as they argued a call at Ebbets Field. The Pirates pictured are Elbie Fletcher at center and Hall of Famer Frankie Frisch who were upset at a call after Joe Medwick hit a triple at Ebbets Field. This is a unique new discovery from the archives of the Brooklyn Eagle and identified on the back as the work of photographer Alvin Lambert.
