1940 Photograph of members of the Detroit Tigers and Cincinnati Reds as they shook hands before the start of the World Series. Led by Hall of Famers Hank Greenberg of the Tigers and Ernie Lombardi of the Reds, this would go down as one of the best series' of the pre-war era. The photo presents really nicely with some editorial pinholes being the only flaws. The photo has some artistic painting which would easily be removed.
