1928 Portrait photograph of Ed Montague of the Cleveland Indians and posing in full uniform at the ballpark. An rare player to find images of, Montague only played parts of four seasons with the Indians and a total of 220 games in the big leagues. Condition and quality are both outstanding and this is one of the only images of Langford known to exist. Issued by the American League Service Bureau but taken originally by Underwood and Underwood. An interesting note is that Montague's son, also named Ed Montague, is one of the most famous umpires of all time, serving from 1974-2009!
