1920 Beautiful photograph of baseball star and pioneer inventor, Lena Blackburne, in uniform with the Boston Braves. Blackburne was a good player but the mud he used to rub baseballs down made him wealthy and it is still harvested and used by major league baseball to this day! Stamped on the back by George Grantham Bain, this is his greatest photo and one we have never seen offered before.
