Lot Description  

Large c. 1920 action photograph of superstar infielder, Bill Wambsganss from the Cleveland Indians in uniform and taken about the time he was leading the Cleveland Indians into the World Series. A Charles Conlon original with his handwritten notes on the back, this was mounted by Baseball Magazine and was used as the actual proof photograph for his baseball card premium photograph! A unique piece of history that is among his greatest images ever taken!
